This short course trains the remote pilot and visual observer to recognize and overcome visual illusions caused by darkness, and understand physiological conditions which may degrade night vision.

Successful completion results in documented certification that should be placed in the remote pilot's training record for use during any Night operations under a Part 107.29 Waiver, as proof of passing the knowledge described in the FAA Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, Chapter 17, Aeromedical Factors.
