This 5-day course is designed for both the supervisor and UAS pilot, and provides in-depth exposure to the theory, tactics and technology of thermal imagery as well as practical experience through vignette-based virtual simulations of laws-enforcement mission. Specific topics include air-ground unit coordination, crew resource management, patrol support tactics, operation from a moving vehicle (107.25) tactics, and crew selection and training.
